Simbithi Eco-Estate will be hosting Christopher Duigen, who is widely regarded as one of South Africa's foremost concert pianists. Since his professional debut with the Cape Town Symphony Orchestra in 1991 he has maintained an illustrious career and is renowned for his entertaining, eclectic performances. His performance history is rich and includes the works of Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky, Ravel, Bartok, Shostakovich, Liszt, Mozart and Chopin. He has performed extensively with all South Africa’s leading orchestras.

Based in KwaZulu-Natal, he is committed to promoting classical music in the KZN region through his project Music Revival, established in 1997. Music Revival now presents more than 70 concerts a year including the Classical Concert Series at the Hilton Festival, the Franschhoek Classical Music Festivals as well as numerous concerts in KZN, Johannesburg and in the Cape Winelands. We look forward to an entertaining program from this highly regarded, innovative performer.
