Welcome to Umdwebo 2008
The Umdwebo 2008 is a festival celebrating of the art of fine living which takes place on the scenic KwaDukuza Coast, in and around the coastal town of Ballito, from November 09 to 17, 2007.
Umdwebo is the Zulu word for ‘to create art’ or to ‘underline something beautiful’. This concept was initially created to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Ballito in 2003, and to attract people who appreciate the finer things in life to Ballito, as well as to celebrate the art of inspirational living under the Dolphin Coast skies. Due to popular demand, Umdwebo has become a proud annual asset for the Dolphin Coast.
Umdwebo 2008 is being produces by Swank Projects, KwaDukuza Municipality and the Dolphin Coast Publicity Association, in conjunction with Tourism KwaZulu-Natal.
The Umdwebo 2008 festival will be hosted by well-known and much-loved radio personality, our KZN’s very own Nazarene Khan.
